{"id":21193,"date":"2025-09-30T16:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T16:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=21193"},"modified":"2025-09-30T16:37:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T16:37:11","slug":"vacancy-pharmarcy-technician","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/jobs\/vacancy-pharmarcy-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY: PHARMARCY TECHNICIAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>POSITION: PHARMARCY TECHNICIAN<br \/>\nLOCATION: CAPE COAST<br \/>\nREPORT TO: FACILITY HEAD<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE: The post holder will be actively involved in providing high quality pharmaceutical services to patients and support the work of PPAG clinic.<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \u2022 Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening. \u2022 Receive prescriptions and check their validity. \u2022 Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate. \u2022 Resolve issues when they arise (e.g., rejected insurance claims) \u2022 Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions. \u2022 Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory. \u2022 Undertake administrative tasks (e.g., Record-keeping) as assigned. \u2022 Comply with all security measures and quality standards. \u2022 Perform any other duties that may be required from the Supervisor from time to time<br \/>\nQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: \u2022 He\/ She must hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Pharmacy Technology from an accredited institution. \u2022 The candidate should have undergone mandatory 12-month experiential training (National Service) in an accredited hospital or institution by the Pharmacy council.<br \/>\nTHE PERSON: \u2022 Proven experience as pharmacy technician<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with an online prescription system is a plus \u2022 Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement \u2022 Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology \u2022 Excellent communication and customer service skills \u2022 Outstanding organizational skills \u2022 Reliable with a keen eye for detail \u2022 Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program \u2022 Certified Pharmacy technician is an asset<br \/>\n<strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nAll interested persons with requisite qualification(s), should kindly send their Application Letters with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), including two referees, their email addresses and cell phone numbers to:<br \/>\nThe HR Manager<br \/>\nPlanned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG)<br \/>\nP.O.
