{"id":21636,"date":"2025-12-11T05:58:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T05:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=21636"},"modified":"2025-12-11T05:58:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T05:58:00","slug":"vacancy-marketing-officer","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/jobs\/vacancy-marketing-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY: MARKETING OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>POSITION: MARKETING OFFICER<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>REPORT TO: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE (ACCRA), (FOUNDERS\u2019 CENTRE)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>JOB PURPOSE:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 To be responsible for all marketing strategies and activities within the Association and provide direction and feedback on major projects and ventures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Handle conference and event bookings for the social enterprise.<br \/>\n\u2022 Make key decisions regarding product distribution, budgeting, branding and sales<br \/>\n\u2022 Works with other officers to set the overall direction and objectives for product and service offerings.<br \/>\n<strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Promote the name, product and service of the unit through effective Marketing and Resource mobilization strategies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics and other information that affects marketing strategies in order to establish the best way to reach target groups<br \/>\n\u2022 Use the research findings and analysis to provide direction to marketing to SMT through the supervisor regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services and overall strategy<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy and promotional activities to create brand awareness<br \/>\n\u2022 In collaboration with the supervisor, approves all marketing campaigns and plans before they are implemented.<br \/>\n\u2022 Book conference services ensuring set up, catering services and client satisfaction are wel coordinated.<br \/>\n\u2022 Weigh in on important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels and branding<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the Association\u2019s presence.<br \/>\n\u2022 Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels.<br \/>\n\u2022 See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain the Unit\u2019s budget and ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that client\u2019s expectation and service demands are met and delivered in time.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in ensuring quality control for all job orders.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with Manager to prepare job dockets.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth<br \/>\n\u2022 Welcome visitors to the unit and assist them in the purpose of their visit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that in-coming mails to the Managers outfit are sorted and duly dealt with.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work with other company officers to establish budgets and marketing objectives.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed<br \/>\n<strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25aa A good first degree in Marketing OR Professional qualification OR its equivalent in related field with a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience.
