POSITION: Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator
\nREPORTS TO: Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
\nLOCATION: Head Office (ACCRA)
\nJob Role:
\nDeveloping a strong M&E system and playing the key role of facilitating the input of staff of the Association partners and other stakeholders in planning, designing and measurement of programme and services delivery activities with the aim of achieving the Project targets.
\nKey Functions:
\n\u2022 Tracking and updating M&E data as well as ensuring the data is of the best quality possible
\n\u2022 Ensuring proper and timely analysis and reporting of data using appropriate software
\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Working under the direction of the RM&E Manager will ensure high-quality programme information is available and used to promote program accountability, learning and improvement.
\n\u2022 The job holder will perform quality control and regulate audit of the programme progress and results.
\n\u2022 S\/he will also provide informed and independent professional advice to the Association with a view to improve the delivery process and achieving high impact outcomes.
\n\u2022 Liaise with other partners on data related matters
\n\u2022 Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation plan
\n\u2022 Helping determine performance and impact indicators and targets
\n\u2022 Providing support to proposal development for M&E components
\n\u2022 Design and maintain a monitoring and evaluation system for the programme timely and trustworthy data results
\n\u2022 Master and lead in the use of technological innovations for collecting and analysing data so as to measure programming impact.
\n\u2022 Lead to prepare project reports for management relevant bodies as well as guide partner agencies in preparing their reports when required.
\n\u2022 Monitoring project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
\n\u2022 Working with data platforms, databases and select technologies to capture and organize data
\n\u2022 Conducting or providing support to data quality assessments
\n\u2022 Developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements
\n\u2022 Disseminating evaluation findings and project results to donors and other stakeholders
\n\u2022 Per any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
\nQUALIFICATION AND SKILLS<\/strong>
\n\u2022 First degree in statistics, project management or related fields.
\n\u2022 At least 5-year experience as an M&E expert in development work.
\n\u2022 Excellent end \u2013user skills in an M&E software commonly used by INGOs.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with the Results Framework approach is required.
\n\u2022 Experience in M&E methods and approaches (including quantitative, qualitative and participatory).
\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience and skills in information analysis and writing comprehensive and high quality reports.
\n\u2022 Advance computer skills in all MS Office programmes.
\n\u2022 Personal specification will include excellent statistical acumen, investigation skills and writing skills
\n\u2022 Prior management experience and strong organizational skills.
\n\u2022 Excellent oral and written English skills
