{"id":5204,"date":"2022-11-21T08:54:19","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T08:54:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/ppag\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=5204"},"modified":"2022-11-21T08:56:15","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T08:56:15","slug":"finance-administration-officer","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/jobs\/finance-administration-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY: FINANCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), an NGO and a member of the<br \/>\nInternational Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and a leading provider of Sexual and<br \/>\nReproductive Health (SRH) education and services, hereby invites result-oriented and<br \/>\ncommitted persons to apply for the following vacant positions to be filled in the Association.<br \/>\nPOSITION: FINANCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER<br \/>\nDIRECTLY REPORT TO: FACILITY HEAD<br \/>\nINDIRECTLY REPORT TO: SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER and<br \/>\nPROCUREMENT AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER HEAD OFFICE<br \/>\nLOCATION: Tamale<br \/>\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual projects and other financial and<br \/>\nany other reports that may be assigned<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinate and ensure that expenses are incurred in accordance with the<br \/>\nAssociation\u2019s policies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinates and ensures that expenditure returns are received, reviewed, properly<br \/>\ncoded and entered into the accounting system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares consolidated final accounts and supporting schedules for the end- of -year<br \/>\naudits<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures that consistency is maintained in the internal control system and report any<br \/>\nlapses to the Senior Finance Manager<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinates and ensures that funds are available for activity implementation<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertakes monthly update of Fixed Asset Register for the facility and projects<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures that all non-current assets are well coded and recorded in the assets register.<br \/>\n\u2022 Facilitate procurement of goods, works and services in accordance with PPAG\u2019s<br \/>\npolicies and procedures at the facility.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that all assets are properly maintained and insured at all time.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares monthly Bank Reconciliation statements<br \/>\n\u2022 Assists in preparation of Annual Business Plan (BP)<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares Annual Workplans and completes Performance Appraisal Form<br \/>\n\u2022 Manages the facility\u2019s store in terms of Monthly reporting, receiving, recording, storage,<br \/>\nissuing of goods\/drugs\/commodities meant for the facility.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures that stock records\/ledgers are regularly updated using the Tally cards, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conducts and reports on periodic stock counts<br \/>\n\u2022 Manages the vehicles and other moveable properties of the Association at the facility.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor<br \/>\nQualifications &amp;
