Association of Ghana (PPAG) LBG<\/strong>, an association limited by guarantee and duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana, intends to dispose of its unserviceable vehicles on \u201cAs-is-where-is\u201d basis and hereby invites <strong>interested individuals, firms, consortia, and corporate entities<\/strong> to submit <strong>Expressions of Interest (EOIs)<\/strong> for the <strong>purchase of the following serviceable vehicles<\/strong>:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>One (1) Truck\u00a0 ( GR 5429- C)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>One (1) Bus\u00a0 (GR acquisition of leasehold rights to land situated in Fuo, Tamale, in the Tamale Metropolis of the Northern Region, Ghana.\r\n\r\nPPAG Lbg is a volunteer based local NGO aimed at providing quality sexual and reproductive health and right services and education to the vulnerable person especially the young persons in Ghana.\r\n\r\n<strong>Purpose<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThis call is to allow individuals and corporate entities to express interest in acquiring a portion of land measuring 3.06 acres. The land is bounded on the North-west by a road abutting Residential properties, on the Northern-East by a road abutting Global Dream Hotel, on the South-East by Road and South-West by a Road. (PPAG) LBG.\r\nVACANCY FOR A MEMBER OF PPAG NOMINATION AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE\r\n1.0 Introduction\r\n1.1 PPAG is a registered volunteer based Non-Governmental, Not for Profit organisation that operates across the 16 regions of Ghana. It is the leading civil society organisation working on issues of sexual and reproductive health and rights in Ghana and a member of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).\r\n1.2 In 2024 PPAG initiated the reform of its governance system to strengthen its effectiveness, deepen accountability and transparency, and achieve inclusion and diversity in its governance and leadership. The reform was to reposition governance in the Association to respond to the opportunities and challenges associated with the evolving social, economic and political context within which the Association operates. This was informed by an assessment of the Association\u2019s governance system.\r\n1.3 As part of its governance reform, PPAG has established the Nominations and Governance Committee hereafter referred to as NGC. The NGC is an independent body which reports to the Annual General Meeting and has the mandate of recruiting, performance review and succession planning for Council and Standing Committees; and review of procedural policies. The NGC is constituted of 5 members of which at least 50% shall be women and at least 20% young persons under the age of 25 at the time of their appointment. 60% shall be volunteers of the Association who do not hold any positions and 40% shall be external persons who are not members of the Association, with fair geographical representation.\r\n1.4 PPAG intends to recruit reputable persons to serve as members of its Nomination and Governance Committee, hereafter referred to as NGC. This is a volunteer position that is open to:\r\nInternal applicants: current paid-up members of PPAG who are not members of the Council or its Standing Committees. Staff of PPAG are not eligible.\r\nExternal applicants: persons who are not members of PPAG but are willing to serve in this role as volunteers.\r\n2.0 Duties and Responsibilities of the NGC\r\nThe Committee shall have the following prerogatives, functions, and duties:\r\n2.1 Recruit council members and committee members in accordance with agreed clear guidelines, including succession planning.\r\n2.2 Oversee an annual process for evaluating the effectiveness of the Council and its members, of all Council standing committees, and of itself.\r\n2.3 Periodically review the regulations and procedural bylaws and ensure that the Council complies and operates in accordance with governance best practices.\r\n2.4 Report to the Annual General Meeting on the implementation and effectiveness of the matters set out at paragraphs 3.2 and 3.3.\r\ni. Committee members shall serve a three-year term after which they will be eligible for reappointment to serve another term (final term), based on their performance.\r\nii. This is a volunteer position and members are expected to commit 15-20 hours per year.\r\niii. safe abortion care, fertility, STI including HIV prevention and treatment).\r\n\u2022 Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.\r\n\u2022 Support case reviews, audits, and continuous improvement of clinical services.\r\nAdministration & Operations\r\n\u2022 Manage clinic operations including finance, procurement, logistics, and HR in collaboration with relevant units.\r\n\u2022 Oversee the availability and maintenance of medical equipment, drugs, and supplies.\r\n\u2022 Ensure proper record-keeping, digitization of client data, and confidentiality of patient information.\r\n\u2022 Prepare and submit timely reports to management and relevant stakeholders.\r\nCommunity Engagement & Partnerships\r\n\u2022 Strengthen linkages between the clinic and the community to promote SRHR and other services.\r\n\u2022 Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, donors, NGOs, and professional associations.\r\n\u2022 Lead Head\r\nLocation: Accra Clinic\r\n<strong>JOB PURPOSE:<\/strong> To organize and provide SRHR services to meet the health needs of the vulnerable group including adolescent girls and young women through the clinic and community-based.\r\n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong>\r\n1. Assist in developing caseload\/catchment population profile and identify, prioritize and implement programs of care, planning and carrying out SRHR activities\r\n2. Provide Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information to clients\r\n3. Participate in health education activities\r\n4. Provide a quality integrated package of essential services including counselling, family planning, child welfare clinics and HIV\/AIDS, STI\r\n5. Counsel clients with special problems during outreach and refer to the appropriate facility\r\n6. Organize effective and efficient outreach services and ensure timely submission of quality reports\r\n7. Assist in ensuring continuity of care by tracing defaulters and making follow-ups visits.\r\n8. Assist in organizing periodic community mobilization in the catchment areas\r\n9. Liaise with other agencies like social welfare to assist clients in need of support.\r\n10. Prepare and submit written reports as required\r\n11. Ensure the formation of volunteer branches in the zone and build the capacities of both staff and volunteers to play their roles\r\n12. Protect all confidential information concerning clients obtained in the course of professional practice and make disclosures only with the consent or when disclosure can be appropriately justified.\r\n13. Advocate support for programmes from opinion leaders and projects teams for effective implementation\r\n14. Adhere to the health and safety policies, guidelines\/protocols (eg. the use of personal protective clothing\/equipment\r\n15. Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients and visitors.\r\n16. by using the computer system\r\n\u2022 Enter the relevant data on clients into the computer\r\n\u2022 Dispense drugs according to the laid down procedures and standards e.g FEFO\r\n\u2022 Assist in filing the client`s cards after service delivery\r\n\u2022 Maintain and use the appropriate process of ordering and receiving drugs, receiving e.g Re-order levels\r\n\u2022 Take in and hand out Technician (From an Accredited Institution) or its equivalent in any programme with Computer knowledge in Microsoft word and Excel. or any other higher related field with a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience, of which must be in a similar position.\r\n\u25aa Language proficiency: fluent in both written and spoken English and any of the local languages in the REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EDUCATION FOR THE MARGINALIZED (RHE4M) PROJECT<\/strong>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li><strong>Background<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nThe Reproductive Health Education for the Marginalized (RHE4M) Project is a collaborative initiative between the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) and CAMFED Ghana, aimed at improving access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services among young girls and women in selected districts of Ghana. The project is implemented in three districts \u2014 Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) District (Central Region), Bole District (Savanna Region), and Sekyere East District (Ashanti Region). The project is a six (6) month pilot intervention for possible expansion.\r\n\r\nThe project addresses barriers such as inadequate SRHR information, limited access to youth-friendly health services, stigma, and sociocultural factors that hinder marginalized populations from exercising their sexual and reproductive rights. The project deployed the following key strategies to address the barriers highlighted; Peer Education, CSE education in school and out of school, Sports and Dance drama, carried out social and behavior change communication (SBCC), Large\/small group activities (Health screening), inter-generational dialogues and Radio programs.\r\n\r\nAs the project draws to a close, PPAG intends to conduct an End-Line Evaluation to 1. Determine whether the project achieved its intended objectives and results 2. Provide insights and lessons to guide future programming, planning, and policy decisions.3. Examine how well resources (time, money, staff) were used to achieve the outcomes. All these are to ascertain the level of progress made towards achieving the goal of the project compared to the baseline and to document the best practices.<div OFFICER)\r\nLOCATION: CAPE COAST FACILITY, CAPE COAST\r\nREPORT TO: DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMES AND SERVICE DELIVERY\r\nJOB PURPOSE:\r\nTo lead and manage the operations of the facility. To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services in line with organisational policies. To combine clinical midwifery expertise with strategic leadership to oversee the facility administration, staff performance, patient care, and community engagement.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLeadership & Management\r\n\u2022 Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the facility.\r\n\u2022 Supervise, mentor, and appraise Nurses\/Midwives, administrative staff and other paramedical staff.\r\n\u2022 Develop and implement operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.\r\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with SRHR policies, facility standards, and regulatory frameworks.\r\n\u2022 Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a culture of respect, confidentiality, and accountability.\r\nClinical & Technical Duties\r\n\u2022 Provide high-quality midwifery care, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, domiciliary midwifery and family planning services.\r\n\u2022 Oversee specialist SRHR services (e.g., obstetrics, gynaecology, maternal and child health, safe abortion care, fertility, STI including HIV prevention and treatment).\r\n\u2022 Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.\r\n\u2022 Support case reviews, audits, and continuous improvement of clinical services.\r\nAdministration & Operations\r\n\u2022 Manage hospital operations including finance, procurement, logistics, and HR in collaboration with relevant units.\r\n\u2022 Oversee the availability and maintenance of medical equipment, drugs, and supplies.\r\n\u2022 Ensure proper record-keeping, digitization of client data, and confidentiality of patient information.\r\n\u2022 Prepare and submit timely reports to management and relevant stakeholders.\r\nCommunity Engagement & Partnerships\r\n\u2022 Strengthen linkages between the hospital and the community to promote SRHR and other services.\r\n\u2022 Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, donors, NGOs, and professional associations.\r\n\u2022 Lead hospital representation at stakeholder meetings, health forums, and advocacy events.\r\nMonitoring & Evaluation\r\n\u2022 Track hospital performance against set targets and indicators.\r\n\u2022 Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for SRHR services.\r\n\u2022 Implement quality improvement initiatives based on evidence and feedback.\r\nCore Competencies\r\n\u2022 Leadership and partnership skills\r\n\u2022 Commitment to patient rights, confidentiality, and quality of care\r\nQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:\r\n\u25aa A Registered Midwife with a degree\r\n\u25aa An additional higher qualification in a related field will be an added advantage\r\n\u25aa A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant working experience.\r\nTHE PERSON:\r\n\u25aa Must have very good interpersonal, communication, report writing and presentation skills\r\n\u25aa Must be honest, transparent, reliable and duty-conscious\r\n\u25aa Must be very accommodating\r\n\u25aa High sense of responsibility, humour, be non-judgmental and able to take initiatives\r\n\u25aa Must be a team player and self-motivated\r\n\u25aa Must be able to work for long hours and sometimes, due to workload, under
