{"id":22196,"date":"2026-05-29T19:05:36","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T19:05:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/?post_type=project&#038;p=22196"},"modified":"2026-05-29T19:05:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T19:05:36","slug":"contributing-to-global-advocacy-and-accountability-on-srhr","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/project\/contributing-to-global-advocacy-and-accountability-on-srhr\/","title":{"rendered":"Contributing to Global Advocacy and Accountability on SRHR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contributing to Global Advocacy and Accountability on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Project (Contributing to GAA-SRHR)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ghana has endorsed and ratified several policies, conventions, treaties, and commitments such as the ICPD, UHC, Beijing Platform for Action, FP2030, SDGs, and Maputo Protocol, among others, to advance SRHR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, the implementation of these commitments is hardly translated into practice due to a lack of clear implementation frameworks and weak regulation and supervision strategies. These frameworks and international policies remain relevant to PPAG\u2019s vision and mission of ensuring access to SRHR services for marginalized people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PPAG, as a leading organization in the SRHR space has prioritised the above frameworks and, as such, seeks to contribute to bridging the gaps that remain in ensuring access to universal SRHR services. PPAG, through this project will also work with key partners to ensure that regional and global commitments (such as the FP2030, SDGs, ICPD+25 and the Maputo Protocols etc) on SRHR priority areas that are signed on to are domesticated and translated into national legislations and policies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Likewise, through this Project, the Association will continue to improve upon its level of influence, visibility and leadership in the SRHR sector across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":22189,"template":"","class_list":["post-22196","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","project_category-activity","entry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/22196","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/22196\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":22197,"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/22196\/revisions\/22197"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/22189"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ppag-gh.org\/nu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=22196"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
