Redefining Volunteerism and improving volunteer participation in programmes and governance for effective SRHR programming<\/p>\n
This project seeks to strengthen PPAG\u2019s sustainability by diversifying funding sources and revitalising its volunteer base, in line with the findings of the recent governance assessment. By implementing targeted reforms, the project will enhance governance, improve resource mobilisation, and position PPAG as a resilient and impactful member of the IPPF network and the broader SRHR sector.<\/p>\n
A key focus is the development of a robust volunteer recruitment and retention strategy. Strategic individuals with diverse expertise will be engaged, while new mechanisms will be introduced to sustain commitment. The volunteer base will be expanded to include corporate institutions, creating opportunities for partnerships, resource sharing, and funding diversification. Volunteers will receive training to actively support outreach, advocacy, service delivery, and resource mobilisation, including mobilising corporate and community contributions towards PPAG initiatives.<\/p>\n
To strengthen coordination, local branches will be equipped to effectively manage and monitor volunteer activities nationwide. This will ensure that volunteer efforts are structured, impactful, and aligned with organisational goals.<\/p>\n
