PPAG Joins Stakeholders to Sensitize Students at Elmina M/A Basic School

PPAG, together with other stakeholders including the Ghana Health Service (GHS), DOVVSU, National Youth Authority (NYA), and CHRAJ, teamed up with the Department of Gender in the Central Region to engage students of Elmina M/A Basic School.

Using a multi-sectoral approach to addressing gender issues, all the participating institutions introduced the students to their key mandates and functions, so that the students would know where to seek help when needed. They were also engaged on issues relevant to each institution.

PPAG focused its session on STIs including HIV, Building Healthy Relationships, and Substance Abuse.

The students were also introduced to the PPAG toll-free line 0800202010 (Yenkasa) to call whenever they need SRHR information, counselling, or someone to confide in.
