The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), established in 1967, is Ghana’s leading Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) providing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to the youth. As a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), we have spent decades pioneering innovative health initiatives that empower adolescent girls and young women, males, marginalized communities and support national development.
Our primary focus is on young people aged 10–24, who make up more than half of Ghana’s population with the secondary focus on women and men of reproductive age. Through youth-friendly clinics, community and school outreaches, partnerships and digital health innovations, we deliver accessible, confidential, and gender transformative SRHR services that help our beneficiaries make informed choices for healthier lives.
Driven by our vision of a Ghana where everyone especially the young and marginalized has unhindered access to SRHR, PPAG continues to lead the way in promoting quality sexual health, responsible family life, and the well-being of all.
Our Mission
To provide quality sexual and reproductive health and rights info-rmation and services to all, especially young people and marginalised groups in Ghana.
