Joshua Opoku-Mainoo is a Development Banker and Social Worker with over 15 years of service to Africa in developing financial services for sustainable household income and also improving Maternal and Reproductive Health Services. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) and a Bachelors Degree in Banking and Finance.
He is currently the Programmes Manager responsible for Education Finance & Impact Assessment at Sinapi Aba. He is the immediate past President of Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) and has provided leadership in Sexual and Reproductive Health services (SRH) that has culminated into achieving one of the highest service statistics within IPPFAR member countries in Africa.
Joshua was one of the young people that worked and set up Youth Action of Ghana and assisted to draft the guidelines of operation of the youth movement. In 2004 – 2010, he served as a Council Member of the Association and was a member of the Finance Committee. Under Joshua’s leadership, PPAG received global accreditation as one of the best SRH and Family Planning Organisations in the world. He enjoys playing and watching football. He also likes photography and currently an amateur photographer!
